Coca-Cola Dreamworld

While picking up groceries recently, I saw a new flavor of Coca-Cola of which I was unaware. I haven’t kept track of Coca-Cola’s newest creations, but this one caught my eye, and I admit, I bought into their gimmick again. Well, the transaction is already completed, I might as well share my experience with you so that you may be better informed than I was.

What is Coca-Cola Dreamworld?

Dreamworld is Coca-Cola Creations’ fourth, and final, limited edition flavor of 2022.

Coca-Cola says Dreamworld explores the realms of the surreal, the imaginary, and the otherworldly. Experience the familiar Coca-Cola taste now with a surprising and unexpected flavor from a dream world.

May I be frank for a moment? All right, while the flavor was surprising and unexpected, inspiring an experience within the mind of someone is not as simple as adding a few flavors to your already existing cola blend and using a some cleaver art; the likelihood of successfully initiating such a sensation is often determined by a complex mixture of the individual person’s mindset, life experiences, relatability, et cetera.

Though I would appreciate if Coca-Cola remained slightly more down to earth with these new, experiential flavors, I do enjoy the effort and creativity.

How does Coca-Cola Dreamworld look?

Dreamworld’s packaging and virtual component were unique and outside the box; Coca-Cola definitely developed a consistent motif, and I like that the company kept the design throughout all Dreamworld products, as they have done with the other three creations.

The color of the actual beverage was not notable in the slightest; it was simply caramel colored like the color of the original Coca-Cola. I was anticipating a lighter, softer color, similar to that of the design. Of the three Coca-Cola Creations that I have tried, all were very similar in color, but Starlight was the most creatively colored.

What does Coca-Cola Dreamworld taste like?

The first thing to note is the smell; Dreamworld has a pleasing, light and fruity fragrance. The scent reminds me of the sweet breeze in an orchard on a summer’s day; overall, a delightful scent.

The flavor appears to be continuing the tradition of having a base of the iconic Coca-Cola flavor, but this time there is a soft, fruity flavor that pairs well with the scent and name. I would describe the fruity flavors as being mainly peach with something else, possibly apple. On occasion, there is a taste that I can only describe as a red licorice flavor, which could be an illusion produced by the combination of the Coca-Cola and fruit flavors.

This flavor was far better than Coca-Cola Marshmello in my opinion, and though Dreamworld is not exactly comparable to Starlight since they are apples and oranges in flavor composition, I would rank Dreamworld and Starlight as being equally good.

It is a bold and challenging objective to achieve a beverage that could be worthy of the title Dream Flavored due to the exceedingly subjective and intangible nature of dreams. Regardless of the subjectively varying levels of accuracy and inaccuracy, this flavor gave me the impression of mid summer Coca-Cola, and I thoroughly enjoyed it; I definitely recommend this new flavor!

What others had to say:

I would have this again because it’s really good, and I like the design of the can. I think the color of the liquid should be a barely visible blue, like an almost clear version of the blue on the can.
