Coca-Cola has released yet another new and limited flavor: Coca-Cola Marshmello, which is apparently the first collaboration between Coca-Cola and an artist; I was unaware of this artist until learning about this new flavor.
Let’s dive right into this new Coca-Cola creation!
What Does Coca-Cola Marshmello taste like?

The first thing that I noticed about this new beverage is that the can’s sleek design and marshmello oriented theme is not reflected by the bland, brown liquid inside the can; a deep red or even a subtle burgundy color would have been quite interesting, but we are given a slightly reddish brown. Even the flavor does not appear fitting in my opinion; it is flavored watermelon strawberry, which is presumably some of the artist’s favorite flavors, yet a creamy marshmallow flavor, or maybe a summery s’more flavor, may have better paired with the name and feel of this Coca-Cola.

The next thing I noticed about this pop, yes, it is called pop where I grew up, smelled fruity and delicious; my anticipation was accumulating and I was excited to taste a very unique flavor blend.
Finally, the taste: I was expecting to be taken on a colorful adventure of flavors with this hyped beverage, but the flavors seemed to fall flat. It could be equated to sitting in a restaurant, waiting for your premium meal to arrive, and then the waiter trips and spills your food on the ground, picks your meal up, mixing it with the scraps from other failed attempts, and serves you the chaos.
Its fruity flavor appeared poorly blended and hastily developed, and the result was a flavor similar to that of cheap fruit gum, as if a gum company attempted to manufacture their own pop. I am also disappointed to not taste the signature flavor as a foundation, and the company claims to have included their familiar Coca-Cola taste in this flavor, however I was unable to detect it in the midst of this storm of unearthly fruit flavors. My experience with this flavor may have been skewed by the zero sugar version that I consumed; if you have the ability to choose between the two, I would not suggest the zero sugar; I felt it was not worthwhile. I may revisit this beverage to taste the regular version.
That is just my opinion, and I am only one person, so here is what family said:
It tasted like I was chewing bubble gum while drinking watered down Coca-Cola.
Taster 1
I do like the flavor. It doesn’t taste like what the can shows [marshmallow]. I would have it again.
Taster 2
It tastes like weird bananas and I don’t like it. I would never drink this again, though I would drink this over dirt. It smells good, but tastes bad. It could be a candle sent.
Taster 3
It tasted like flavored water.

Have you tasted this flavor, and if so, what was your opinion on it?
